For Vapor Tanks the vision was to make an Vapor-wave inspired soundtrack. There ended up being many varied references for this eclectic OST including Vapor-wave artists, Metroid, Geometry Wars, Splatoon, Sonic Rush, jazz and jazz adjacent artists, The Living Tombstone, and Katana.

For the sound effects, I tried to create sounds that were reminiscent of the old arcades, while maintaining some tie to the Vapor-wave sound-scape. One of my main concern with making sounds is making sure they add to the vibe without subtracting from the player experience.
